Selling your books:
We buy books in most subject areas. Bring them in, or we
can travel to you if there is a large quantity. We pay in cash (or more
accurately, a business check). You will also have the option of store
credit. Special areas we
especially look for are: Art, Eastern and Western Philosophy, Literature, scholarly books, very old
books, and leather sets. We do buy some recent textbooks.
Also we buy book-related items such as book
ends, book stands, ephemera and prints. We are always happy to take a
look at anything you don't want to keep in your library. When in doubt,
bring it in! If you have too much to bring, we'll come to you.
Condition is very important, and a few rules of thumb are (though
there are always exceptions): no romance books,
no Readers Digest books, and no book club editions.
